Patricia Powers
I focus on poetry and non-fiction personal essay with themes of childhood nostaglia, departures and the everyday ups and downs of living in an adopted country. My family and childhood are great sources of material for me. I'm the youngest of five kids and a child of the 80's (holla GenX).
I also write about life in Paris, the circus of languages that is my household and generally trying to figure out what the hell I am doing here, oftentimes feeling not American but not French.
